Program Overview
Software Research,
long a leader in the Automated Software Quality
(ASQ) market,
wants to help you capture this growing market through
our TestWorks Quality Partners (TQP) Program.
Software Research's
TestWorks Quality Partner members have
a unique opportunity to provide testing
solutions for organizations implementing client/server systems.
TQP's receive a basic level of support along with additional
marketing benefits based on sales performance.
Upon acceptance into the program,
TQP's become part of the TestWorks team at one of three levels:
Quality Partner/Distributors,
Quality Partner/Solutions,
Quality Partner/Referral, or as a
Quality Partner/Consultant.
TestWorks Quality Partner/Distributor Level
A Quality Partner/Distributor organization is usually
full-services software products reseller and/or consulting
organization that is greated non-exclusive rights for
resale of the TestWorks product line in a specific
country or countries.
TestWorks Distributors provide local-language promotion,
provide support to local trade shows and other technical
functions, delivery primary technical support, and
cross-refer interest to/from headquarters.
Distributor organizations obtain TestWorks at a negotiated fixed
discount that is based on level of support provided and
on expected volume of sales.
TestWorks Quality Partner/Solutions Level
A Quality Partner/Solutions organization is usually
a regionally based consultancy
and/or product VAR who either works directly with our sales
force to close a sale or is capable of purchasing and reselling
Software Research's TestWorks products directly to their own and
to shared customer base(s).
Quality Partner/Solutions members
are in full or in part testing specialists
and are able
to provide technical and sales support
to regional corporate accounts
at the enterprise or departmental level.
Quality Partner/Solutions organizations receive an
attractive discount for products they resell as well as a commission
for sales they refer to our Direct Sales force for follow-up.
The value of the discount is based on thresholds and
Quality Partner/Solutions organizations can increase the discount
once they
achieve the appropriate sell-through volume.
TestWorks Quality Partner/Consulting Level
Quality Partner/Consulting members are typically practitioners in the ASQ
discipline and offers their client objective testing recommendations.
These partners are highly specialized in their field and provide
services in conjunction with a broad range of testing tools.
Quality Partners/Consulting do not resell products
and do not take a referral fee for product sales.
Quality Partners/Consulting individuals are kept abreast of
Software Research sponsored marketing activities and new product
announcements.
TestWorks Quality Partner/Trainer Level
Quality Partner/Training individuals are experienced professionals
with a track record in industrial-setting training and education,
who take on contracts for customer-specific training
events that are based on
use and application of TestWorks products.
Trainer Level Partners participate in associates sales
through referral fees or direct discounts, and have full
access to a range of Software Research technical support
programs and activities.
TestWorks Quality Partner/Referral Level
Quality Partner/Referral individuals recommend Software Research's
TestWorks testing
solutions to their customers.
Quality Partner/Referral members prefer to
pass qualified leads directly to Software Research's sales force
for closure and receive a referral fee for their prospecting efforts.
A Quality Partner/Referral can advance in status to a
Quality Partner/Solutions level
once they are prepared to sustain a minimum
sell-through volume.
Quality Partner/Referral members also have the option
of reselling Software Research products at an attractive discount
to help them reach Quality Partner/Solutions status.
TestWorks Quality Partner Qualifications
- TQP's are involved in developing and deploying client/server systems.
- TQP's specialize in software quality or
have experience in client/server architectures.
- TQP's are knowledgeable about software testing technology.
- TQP's are interested in furthering the general aims of the TestWorks
product line's Quality Process Architecture.
All Software Research TestWorks Quality Partners (TQP's) are
entitled to receive various benefits depending on their level of
classification.
These range from product discounts and sales
commissions to sales incentives and joint marketing funds.
